needtomanuallyconfiguretheselection
of theCOM porttowhatwas assigned tothe GPSreceiver so thatproper
communication between the GPS receiver and mapping program can occur. Most all software requires that you
manuallyconfiguretheCOMport setting for anyGPSdevice youuse.
:1.Youmust changethe default rate setting of your mapping softwareto 4800if this is not
otherwiseGPSdatacannot bereceived.
