Models #AH-101 and #AH-102
ATTACHING YOUR UNIVERSAL MOUNT TO THE WINDSHIELD

WARNING: DO NOT
your device. The weight of your device, heat on the windshield and condition of the road being traveled
(bumps) could all possibly affect the ability of the mount to stay attached to the windshield. To minimize
the risk of the mount coming loose from the windshield while in transit, shape the flex-arm so that the
dashboard is supporting it.
2. Use a quality glass cleaner to first clean the mounting area where the suction cup will be making
contact. (This is especially important if there is residue from smoking already on the glass.)
3. Peel the protective paper off the rubber suction cup.
4. Be sure the suction lever is in the UP position (closest to the rubber).
5. Press the rubber suction cup firmly against the glass at the location it needs to be mounted, then
flip the suction lever to the down position (away from the rubber).
6. Re-adjust the flex-arm if it is not making contact with the dashboard.

backside of your phone, MP3 player, or other lightweight device (not recommended for use on
PDA’s). Note: best to place metal plate onto a area of the housing that will not be removed.
Placing the metal plate on a battery may not be wise if you switch batteries often.
9. Place your device with metal plate against the small mounting area on the end of the flex-arm. This
area contains a magnet to hold your device in place.
WARNING: Use on heavy devices may cause the device to slide and fall from the mount.
For AH-102 (with adjustable canvas pocket):
7. With the pocket facing up, peel back the vertical strap and feed it through the gap on the back of
the flex-arm’s mounting head, then re attach the Velcro.
8. Peel back the horizontal straps and also feed them through the gap of the flex-arm’s mounting
head. Use the Velcro on the straps to adjust the pocket depth to fit your PDA.
