• Runs attachments at 700rpm

• #12 Power Take-Off hub (PTO)

• On/off switch has removable operator key to prevent
unauthorized operation

Warranty Details

The VS2000 units carry a one year, on-site parts and labor warranty against any flaws in materials and workmanship. This period begins on the date of the purchase and, provided the unit is used in accordance
with our instructions, is in full effect for one year from that date. Any work performed under this warranty must be performed between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday. Univex will not pay for

overtime charges for work performed other then during normal business hours. Damage incurred in transit or from installation error, accident, alteration or misuse is not covered. Univex shall not be liable for any
consequential compensatory, incidental, or special damages. Contact the Univex service department for any warranty claims.

Electrical: 115V, 60Hz, 1P, 11.5A (contact factory for alternate voltages)

Motor: 1 hp capacitor start, 1740rpm, ball bearing motor with cushioned

mounts to reduce vibration and noise.

Drive: 2.5:1 reduction increases torgue, ribbed poly-V belt, 729 rpm drive
shaft supported by ball bearings in the PTO housing.

Drive Assembly: Completely enclosed in a powder coat finished 10
gauge steel housing and powder coat finished steel
cover.

Switch: Rocker-type double-pole on/off switch located for acess from the
front or left side of unit. Also features a removable key to stop
unathorized use of machine.

VS9 Housing Attachment: Satin finished anodized aluminum housing
with hinged feed chute door, latch, and
feed pusher. Made to attach to a #12 PTO
hub.

Knife Assembly: 9” (229mm) adjustable S-knife assembly for use
in the VS9 housing attachment.

Hub and Shaft: Die cast aluminum hub with stainless steel locking pins
and shaft. Comes with a 5/16” (8mm) shredding plate.
For use in VS9 housing attachment.
