I General Description
The universal remote controller of
URC22 is a new model of multifunctional remote control for European
Market It features
1 7 Device Banks TV1,TV2,VCR1,
VCR2,SAT/CABLE, CABLE/SAT
andAUX
2 4 Operating Modes Set-up Mode,
Quick Search Mode,Auto Search
Mode and Display Mode
3 Transmission and Set-up Indicating
LED
II Operating Process
1 Set Up Devices
According to the brand code in the
attached Device Code List,find out the
code of the device that you want to
control Then follow steps as below
l)Press [SET] key and hold it Then
press the device key .that you want
to control, such as [IV1],
[TV2], [VCRl]or[AUX],etc
2)The LED will be on at the moment
Release the pressed keys
3)Enter the 3-digit Device Code
4)If the entered Device Code is
correct.the LED will be off
automatically If the entered Code
is incorrect, the LED will blink twice
and keeps being at setup mode
(being on) Then pls return to step
3)
5)Try if keys on Remote Controller
work or not If most keys work
improperly,please find other code
in the same brand.repeat l)-5)till
you feel the main keys work well
Note 'In the process of setup.if you
wdTil lo slop setup work,pls press device
key (If no key is pressed in 10 seconds,
the remote controller will leave setup
mode automatically)
2 Quick Search
After you have set up several times the
device you want to control.it still does
not workfi e the device still cannot be
controlled by URC22), or you cannot
find the correct code ш the Device Code
List,you can use Quick Search function
to find out die correct code When URC22
has entered into Search Mode, the preset
search direction is Forward Search,but
you can use [SET] key to switch between
Forward Search and Backward Search
during search process
1) Power on the device you want to
control If it's a VCR, it msut be
inserted with a tape
2) Press and hold[SETJ key In the
meantime,press the Device Key that
you want to control,such
as[TVI],[VCR2]etc
3) The LED will be on at the
moment Release the Pressed keys
4) Press the [SETJkey again and
release it Now the URC-22 unit
enters into Quick Search Mode and
the LED keeps flashing
5) Point the URC22 unit to the device
and press [POWER] key If it's
VCR/AUX, you can press cither
[POWER] key or [PLAY]keySee
if the device work or not (power off
or play) If Ihe device works,tum to
step 6) If not,repeat step 5)
6) Then check if other keys such as
[CH+/-],[V0L+/-] can function
properly (i e if ihe device can be
controlled) If not, return to step 5)
7) Some devices react slowly to
[POWER] signal. In search process,
you can press[SET]key to switch
between Forward/Backward Search
to change search direction and find
the right code quickly.
8) Whenever you want to leave Search
Mode, press Device Key,and the
LED will be off.
Note: In Search Mode, besides
[POWER] key ([POWER] key and
[PLAY] key in the case of VCR/AUX),
all other keys can be checked function
normally.That means you can test other
keys without leaving Search Mode. The
URC22 unit will leave Search Mode if
no key is pressed for 30 seconds.
3. Auto Search
1) Power on the device you want to
control.If it is a VCR,it must be
inserted with a tape.
2) Press and hold[SET] key.In the
meantime, press and hold [POWER]
key for more than 3 seconds and the
auto search will begin.
3) Press any key to exit.
4. Brand Code Display
The Control Code is a 3-dfgit number
and the URC22 unit can make all the 3
digits display.
1) Press and hold the [SET]key,in the
meantime press the digit that you
want to display, such as 1, 2 or 3.
2) Release the [SET]key.
3) Count the time the LED blinks,and
the blinking time is the digit.If
there is no blink, the digit is zero.
5. Remarks:
Do not press any keys when replacing
batteries to avoid missing set-up data.
