Programming the TV PWR Key
1.Turn on the device (TV or audio device).
2.Refer to the code list and note the first code listed for your brand.
3.Simultaneously press the TiVo and TV PWR keys for three seconds. The feedback LED will turn on and stay on.
4.Using the numeric keys, enter the first ode for your brand. The activity LED will blink 3 times and turn off.
5.Point the remote at your TV or audio device and press the TV PWR key to see if it responds.
6.If the device does not turn off, repeat steps 2-5 using the next code listed for your brand.
7.For a TV, point the RCU at the TV and press the INPUT, VOL and MUTE keys.
8.If the TV Input or volume does not change, repeat steps 2-7, selecting the next code listed for your brand.
9.When the TV responds to keypresses as expected, setup is complete.
Programming the INPUT Key
1.Turn on the device (TV or audio device).
2.Refer to the code list and note the first code listed for your brand.
3.Simultaneously press the TiVo and INPUT keys for three seconds until the feedback LED stays lit.
4.Using the numeric keys, enter the first ode for your brand. The activity LED will blink 3 times and turn off.
5.Point the remote at the device and press the Input key.
6.If the TV does not display the name of a signal source, repeat steps 2-5, selecting the next code listed for your brand.
Programming the VOL and MUTE Keys
1.Turn on the TV or audio device.
2.Refer to the code list and note the first code listed for your brand.
3.Simultaneously press the TiVo and Mute keys for three seconds. The feedback LED will turn on and stay on.
4.Using the numeric keys, enter the first ode for your brand. The activity LED will blink 3 times and turn off.
5.Point the RCU at the device and test each of the VOL keys.
6.If the volume does not increase, decrease and mute, repeat steps 2-5, selecting the next code listed for your brand.
7.If the volume controls all functions as expected, setup is complete.
