Do not u s e Teflon tape or joint compoun d on the
water fi tting. The rubber washer p r ovides an
adequate seal. Other materials could cause
blocka g e of th e valve.

opening, adjust the rear feet to a c hiev e a tot a l unit rear

The pin is designed to stop the door at 90° und er
normal operating condit io ns. It is not desi gned
for exces s ive force . D o not u s e th e d oor to mov e
the unit in/out of t h e cut-out during inst allat i on.
If your uni t is al read y un der counter, it m i g h t
need to be moved out/ forward t o access t h e
hing e.

Properly aligned, the do or’s gasket s h ould b e
fir m l y i n c o nta c t with t h e cabinet all t h e way
a r o und t h e door ( n o g a ps) . C a re f u l l y ex a m in e
the d oor’s gasket to ensu re that it is fi rmly in
contact wi th the ca binet. Also make sure the
door gasket is n o t p i n c he d on th e hin g e side of
the d oor.

the bi n arm of the ice maker (Figure 1). Failure
