1. Make sure the ATV is completely cool before starting the installation. Make sure the ATV is secure on a level surface and the parking brake is tset.
2. Remove OEM muffler assembly by removing the 2 socket head allen bolts from the muffler mounting points.
3. Loosen the muffler joint clamp located behind the right side body panel. You will have to pull out the plastic a little bit to see this bolt.
4. Remove muffler assembly.
5. Attach TBR muffler to TBR slip-on with the X-ring and the 4 6x14mm socket head cap screws and lock washers provided. Leave loose for now.
6. Attach black muffler mounting bracket to upper muffler mounting hole as shown using the supplied 8x20mm flange bolt.
7. Slide supplied barrel clamp on to TBR muffler assembly and locate bolt on the bottom for ease of tightening after installed.
8. Install TBR muffler assembly and attach lower rear mount with 8x30mm flange bolt and upper to the mounting bracket using the 8x30mm flange bolt and nut supplied.
9. Tighten the 4 X-ring retaining ring bolt in a cross pattern.
10. Tighten barrel clamp.
11. We recommend using a Juice Box™ fuel controller for optimum performance and improved durability with an aftermarket exhaust.
10. Before you run the ATV, clean off all fingerprints and dirt, as any oily residue will etch the metal and become somewhat permanent when the system gets hot. Run the ATV and enjoy. It is normal for some white smok e to appear the first time you start the ATV. This is packing/ manufacturing oil from inside the pipe burning off. Check for gaps or leaks. If you find a leak, a little high temperature silicon sealant should fix it. After 50 to 100 miles, recheck
all fasteners for tightness.
