1. Make sure the bike is completely cool before starting the installation. Make sure the bike is secure on a centerstand or ideally a service lift.
2. Loosen the bottom clamp where the stock headpipe
connects to the mufer.
3. Loosen and remove the top mufer mounting bolt.
4. Remove the stock mufer assembly with a pulling/
twisting motion to help spin the gasket free.
5. Slide the included V.A.L.E.
TM
X-Rings over the TBR S-bends,
being sure to note that there are separate mufers for the
left and right side. Use the 6x14mm socket head cap screws
and split lock washers to loosely attach X-Ring to mufer.
6. Slide the mufer clamp over the TBR S-bend, and slide the mufer canister clamp over the mufer canister.
7. Slide the TBR mufer assembly onto the bike, and use the
included spacer and bolt to loosely mount the canister to the bike as shown.
8. Straighten and align the mufer until you are satised with the t on the bike.
9. Once the mufer is properly aligned, tighten the mufer
mounting bolt, followed by the V.A.L.E.
TM
screws, and
lastly the bottom barrel clamp.

NOTE: Tighten the V.A.L.E.TM screws in an X-pattern in order
to achieve a proper t.
3
10. Repeat steps 2-9 for the other side of the bike.
11. Before you run the bike, clean off all ngerprints and
dirt, as any oily residue will etch the metal and become
somewhat permanent when the system gets hot. Also,
remove any plastic lm from the name badges. Run the
bike and enjoy. It is normal for some white smoke to
appear the rst time you start the bike. This is packing/
manufacturing oil from inside the pipe burning off.
Check for gaps or leaks. If you nd a leak, a little high
temperature silicon sealant should x it. After 50 to 100
miles, recheck all fasteners for tightness.

Care & Cleaning / Warranty
Care & Cleaning
Keep system free of dirt and moisture. Store in a cool, dry place. For cleaning use a mild spray cleaner. Always apply cleaner or polish with a soft, clean cloth.
Stainless Header System: Polished stainless steel pipes will turn a light golden hue after a few heat cycles, this is a normal characteristic of high quality stainless steel.
Carbon Fiber Mufers: Always make sure the berglass packing inside is in good condition and not burned out, as exhaust heat inside an empty canister will
deteriorate the Carbon Fiber sleeve. TBR sells repack kits (TBR part # 005-10038) that include new rivets and repack material as well as a drill bit (#30), making it easy to do yourself. Also, NEVER dyno test your bike with carbon ber mufers installed
- the intense heat and lack of cooling air can quickly cause the CF material to burn.
Two Brothers Racing does not provide a warranty for burned carbon ber.
Aluminum Mufers: Use an aluminum or mag wheel polish such as Mother’s to
restore the bright nish to factory spec.
Two Brothers Racing products are intended for closed course competition purposes only, and therefore
are sold “as is” without warranty. Two Brothers Racing specically disclaims any warranties of
