Chat Boost™

Chat Boost is a dynamic talkback expander built into the DPX21 circuitry that automatically increases the level of incoming chat during loud moments in your game. This prevents you from missing communication from teammates or other players, regardless of the game volume.

It’s a simple solution to an annoying problem, and it happens automatically, so you don’t have to adjust anything!

Bass Boost

The DPX21 offers a bass boost feature to enhance the sound of explosions, gunshots and other deep bass effects, immersing you in the action of your favorite games or movies.

Chat Boost™

Chat Boost is a dynamic talkback expander built into the DPX21 circuitry that automatically increases the level of incoming chat during loud moments in your game. This prevents you from missing communication from teammates or other players, regardless of the game volume.

Turtle Beach uses immersive Dolby digital surround sound technology to greatly enhance your multimedia experience. The DPX21 also decodes extra channels hidden within certain 5.1 channel audio tracks called Dolby EX to provide 7.1 surround sound.

Microphone Monitoring

The DPX21 incorporates microphone

monitoring which mixes a portion of the

microphone

signal into the headphone signal. So you can hear some of your

voice along with game audio and online chat from teammates. Microphone monitoring not only helps you stop talking so loud, it also

eliminates that annoying "underwater" feeling when talking while headphones are covering your ears.
