Tighten rope guide wing nut.

Blade control handle

Unfold handle into operating position.

Secure handle by tightening hand knobs.

Hold blade control handle against upper handle.

Slowly slip starter rope into rope guide.

Pull starter rope with quick, full arm stroke.

If engine does not start after ve pulls,

repeat steps 7 through 9.

Set depth blade to highest position.

Depress blade control handle and hold.

Fill tank with gas to within 1/2 inch of top of tank.

Fill engine with entire contents of oil bottle supplied

with your edger.
