Loosely attach
lower handle to
frame using the
5/16-18 x .75
hex head cap
screws and

5/16-18 ange

lock nuts. Do
not tighten
hardware.

Attach upper
handle and handle
support brackets
to lower handle
using the 5/16-18
x 1.50 screws and

5/16-18 ange lock

nuts. Tighten all
hardware in Step 1
and Step 2.

Snap cable connector into
bottom hole in cable bracket.

Insert the

Z-tting into

the hole in the
Forward Clutch
Bail.

Fill engine with entire contents of oil bottle supplied.

Fill tank with gas until fuel reaches the fuel level

indicator. Do not overll.

Move choke control to
full choke position.

Move throttle control
to rabbit (fast)
position.

Pull starter rope
with quick, full arm
stroke. It may take
more than one pull
to start cold engine.
Once started,
slowly move choke
control to off (run)
position.
