Description
Tripp Lite's SNMPWEBCARD gives IT managers better visibility and control in high-density network environments. It enables any expansion slot-equipped Tripp Lite SmartPro or SmartOnline UPS System to be operated as a managed device on the network. The SNMPWEBCARD employs the SNMP network to remotely monitor and control UPS systems and site electrical conditions via a management platform or web browser. The SNMPWEBCARD can provide remote viewing of site electrical data, UPS status information and self-test logs. When used with Tripp Lite UPS systems equipped with load management receptacles, it can remotely reboot locked-up network devices without interrupting power to other critical loads. An optional ENVIROSENSE accessory module provides remote temperature/humidity monitoring and a dry contact interface to control and monitor alarm, security and telecom devices. The SNMPWEBCARD comes with a 2-year warranty. NEW firmware web-only version 12.06.0061 now available! - supports IPv6, Radius, and secure file transfer. Features
Enhanced UPS Management and Control: The SNMPWEBCARD makes any slot-equipped Tripp Lite UPS a managed device on the network,
controllable via SNMP network management platforms or a web browser. This enables IT managers to remotely monitor current site electrical data,
UPS self-test and alert logs, as well as logged power events such as blackouts, brownouts, overvoltages, and other electrical problems. When used
with the customized load management receptacles available on select Tripp Lite UPS systems, the SNMPWEBCARD also support selective
rebooting of locked-up network equipment without disrupting power to other mission-critical loads.
Flexible Access: The SNMPWEBCARD features two-tier access, allowing both an administrator and a guest to log into the web browser to monitor
or control the UPS system. Multiple user support allows viewing by a number of users simultaneously. Full Telnet access enables the UPS system to
be remotely monitored and managed via a TELNET session. An optional SSL (Secure Socket Layer) security setting provides the capability to
create an encrypted connection to the card via a web browser.
Advanced Network Management Tools: The SNMPWEBCARD can shut down remote operating systems via the network (supported operating
systems must have Tripp Lite's Power Alert 12 installed). It can also provide alert notifications via email or SNMP traps, giving IT personnel the
advantage of receiving an immediate event notification when a site electrical or UPS problem occurs. The SNMPWEBCARD provides real-time clock
support to maintain the time of day and date even if the UPS is shut down. NTP (Network Time Protocol) support enables the card to receive
automatic updates to its real-time clock from a NTP server.
Broad Compatibility: The SNMPWEBCARD supports multiple protocols supported including HTTP, HTTPS, PowerAlert Network Management
System, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, Telnet, SSH, FTP, DHCP, BOOTP. With 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing, the SNMPWEBCARD assures allows
optimal communication compatibility with a current 10/100 Base-T network.
