1. Introduction
The B125-150 HDMI Over Cat5/6 Extender can extend an HDTV signal beyond the standard 15-ft. limitation, as shown in the installation diagram. For maximum range use solid wire Cat6 (24AWG) cable. When used, ranges will be: 480p resolution—up to 230 ft. (70 m); 720p resolution—up to 196 ft. (60 m); 1080p resolution—up to 115 ft. (35 m). Use Tripp Lite P568­series HDMI cables to connect the Extender to the HDMI source and monitor.

Connect the HDMI source to the B125-150 Source Unit using a Tripp Lite P568-series HDMI cable.*

Connect the HDMI display to the B125-150 Display Unit using a Tripp Lite P568-series HDMI cable.*

Connect a Tripp Lite N001- N002 or N201-series Cat5e/6 cable* from Port A of the B125-150 Source Unit to Port A of the B125-150 Display Unit.

Connect a Tripp Lite N001-, N002 or N201-series Cat5e/6 cable* from Port B of the B125-150 Source Unit to Port B of the B125-150 Display Unit.

Note: If the Cat5/6 cables are cross-connected (A to B and B to A) the Extender will not function. To avoid this problem, either tag the cables or use differently colored cables, e.g. black and red.

Connect the included Power Adapter to the B125-150 Display Unit, then plug it into an AC power outlet. To prevent damage and assure peak performance, it is recommended that the Power Adapter be plugged into a Tripp Lite Surge Suppressor.
Note: Depending on signal and cable quality, the Power Adapter may not be required. However, Tripp Lite recommends using it at all times.
* HDMI and Cat5e/6 cables sold separately.

3. Troubleshooting
If the image is not displaying properly:

Check to ensure that Connectors A and B on the source side are connected to Connectors A and B on the display side. If the Cat5/6 cables are cross-connected (A to B and B to A), the Extender will not function.

Check to ensure that you are not using Cat5e/6 cross-over cabling. If this type of cabling is used, the Extender will not function.

Verify that the HDMI source and display are functioning properly by connecting them using a Tripp Lite P568-series cable no longer than 15 ft. If the source and display are functioning properly, test the Cat5/6 cabling by connecting it between two Cat5/6 devices. If the Cat5/6 cabling is functioning properly, contact Tripp Lite Technical support at (773) 869-1234 for further assistance.
4. Warranty and Warranty Registration
1-Year Limited Warranty
TRIPP LITE warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of initial purchase. TRIPP LITE’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing (at its sole option) any such defective products. To obtain service under this warranty, you must obtain a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number from TRIPP LITE or an authorized TRIPP LITE service center. Products must be returned to TRIPP LITE or an authorized TRIPP LITE service center with transportation charges prepaid and must be accompanied by a brief description of the problem encountered and proof of date and place of purchase. This warranty does not apply to equipment which has been damaged by accident, negligence or misapplication or has been altered or modifi ed in any way.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, TRIPP LITE MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Some states do not permit limitation or exclusion of implied warranties; therefore, the aforesaid limitation(s) or exclusion(s) may not apply to the purchaser.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED ABOVE, IN NO EVENT WILL TRIPP LITE BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. Specifi cally, TRIPP LITE is not liable for any costs, such as lost profi ts or revenue, loss of equipment, loss of use of equipment, loss of software, loss of data, costs of substitutes, claims by third parties, or otherwise.

1. Introducción
El Extendedor de HDMI sobre Cat5/6 B125-150 puede extender una señal de televisión de alta defi nición (HDTV) más allá de la limitación estándar de 4,57 m (15 pies), como se muestra en el diagrama de instalación. Para un alcance máximo use cable Cat6 (24AWG) de alambres sólidos. Al usarlo, los alcances serán: resolución de 480p—hasta 70 m (230 pies); resolución de 720p—hasta 60 m (196 pies); resolución de 1080p—hasta 35 m (115 pies). Use cables HDMI Tripp Lite serie P568 para conectar el Extendedor a la fuente de HDMI y al monitor.

Conecte el Adaptador de voltaje incluido a la Unidad de pantalla B125-150, y luego
conéctelo a un tomacorriente de CA. Para evitar daños y asegurar el máximo desempeño, se recomienda conectar el adaptador de voltaje a un supresor de picos Tripp Lite.
Nota: Dependiendo de la calidad de la señal y del cable, puede que no sea necesario el adaptador de voltaje. Sin embargo, Tripp Lite recomienda usarlo en todo momento.
