Overview and Product Features

The B116-A03 DVI Single Link 1-to-3 Splitter enables a single DVI+ Audio source to be split and displayed on up to three DVI monitors simultaneously. Key product features are:

• 5V, 1A power consumption

• Supports bandwidths up to 4.95Gbps

• Supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1080

Installation

1. Connect the DVI source device to the splitter marked INPUT on the B116-A03. Connect DVI source headphones or speakers to the audio jack. (Figure 2)

2. Connect the DVI and audio cables between the DVI displays and the B116-A03 splitters marked OUTPUT MASTER, OUTPUT SLAVE A and OUTPUT SLAVE B. (Figure 3)

• Make sure that the DVI and audio source cables are connected to the INPUT port, and

that and the DVI and audio display cables are connected the OUTPUT ports.

• The lowest-resolution display must be connected to the OUTPUT MASTER port at all

times. This resolution will be used for all slave monitors.

• OUTPUT SLAVE A and OUTPUT SLAVE B are interchangeable

3. Connect the cord from the DC adapter to the DC 5V jack and plug it into a wall outlet. The front POWER LED will illuminate. (Figure 4)

4. Turn on the power to your DVI display before powering your DVI sources.

Troubleshooting

If you experience problems with your B116-A03, switch, try the following remedies:

• Ensure that source and display cabling is working properly. Connect a DVI cable between the source and the display to verify that the cable is functional. Repeat to test all cables.

• If DVI cables are functioning properly, use two cables to test the ports on the B116-A03 splitter. Connect one cable between the DVI source and the INPUT port. Use the second cable to plug between the OUTPUT MASTER and the DVI display. Using the same display, continue testing by connecting the display to OUTPUT SLAVE A and OUTPUT SLAVE B. If all ports work, the B116-A03 is functioning correctly.

• If the unit is plugged in and the Power LED is not lit, verify that the power supply is functioning. Use a voltmeter to measure the output of the DC adapter to verify that 5V is present. If output is 5V, the DC adapter is functional and the B116-A03 switch has failed. Note: The positive (+) is in the middle of the plug and the ground (-) is on the exterior of the plug.

Características y Descripción del Producto

El Divisor de Señal 1-a-3 con Audio para Acoplamiento Sencillo a DVI B116-A03 permite que un sola fuente DVI + Audio sea separada y desplegada en hasta tres monitores DVI simultáneamente. Las características principales del producto son:

• Consumo de 5V, 1A • Soporta Ancho de Bandas hasta 4.95Gbps

• Soporta resoluciones hasta 1920 x 1080

Instalación

1. Conecte el dispositivo fuente del DVI al divisor marcado INPUT [ENTRADA] en el B116A03. Conecte los audífonos o bocinas fuentes del DVI al enchufe de Audio. (Figura 2)

2. Conecte el DVI y cables de audio entre las pantallas DVI y el divisor de señal del B116A03 marcados OUTPUT MASTER [SALIDA MAESTRA], OUTPUT SLAVE A [SALIDA ESCLAVA A] y OUTPUT SLAVE B [SALIDA ESCLAVA B]. (Figura 3)

• Asegúrese que el DVI y los cables de la fuente de audio están conectados al puerto INPUT [ENTRADA] y que el DVI y los cables de audio de la pantalla están conectados a los puertos OUTPUT [SALIDA].

• La pantalla con la resolución más baja debe estar conectada al puerto OUTPUT MASTER [SALIDA MAESTRA], todo el tiempo, Esta resolución será usada para todos los monitores esclavos.

• OUTPUT SLAVE A [SALIDA ESCLAVA A] y OUTPUT SLAVE B [SALIDA ESCLAVA B] son intercambiables.

3. Conecte el cable del adaptador CD al enchufe CD 5V y conéctelo a la toma de corriente en la pared. El LED POWER [ENCENDIDO], al frente, se iluminará. (Figura 4)

4. Encienda su pantalla DVI antes de encender sus fuentes del DVI.

Solución de Problemas

Si está teniendo problemas con su Divisor de señal B116-A03, intente las siguientes

soluciones:

• Asegúrese que los cables de la fuente y la pantalla están trabajando adecuadamente. Conecte un cable DVI entre la fuente y la pantalla para verificar que el cable es funcional. Repita la prueba con todos los cables.

• Si los cables del DVI están funcionando adecuadamente, use dos cables para probar los puertos en el Divisor de Señal B116-A03. Conecte un cable entre la fuente del DVI y el puerto INPUT [ENTRADA]. Use el Segundo cable para conectarlo entre el puerto OUTPUT MASTER [SALIDA MAESTRA] y la pantalla DVI. Usando la misma pantalla, continué probando conectando la pantalla a OUTPUT SLAVE A [SALIDA ESCLAVA A] y OUTPUT SLAVE B [SALIDA ESCLAVA B]. Si todos los puertos trabajan, el B116-A03 está funcionando correctamente.

• Si la unidad está conectada pero el LED de encendido no está iluminado, verifique que el suministro de corriente eléctrica esté funcionando. Use un Voltímetro para medir la salida del adaptador CD para cerciorarse de que hay 5V. Si la salida es de 5V, el adaptador CD es funcional y el B116-A03 ha fallado. Nota: El positivo (+) está en medio de la clavija y la tierra (-) está en la parte externa de la clavija.
