Verifica del contenuto della confezione

Per installare l'adattatore, è necessario disporre di:
1. Computer con uno slot PCI a 32 bit disponibile
2. Processore da 300 MHz e 32 MB di RAM (consigliato)
3. Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000/XP/2003 installato sul computer
4. Cavo Ethernet RJ-45

2. Installazione hardware
Installazione dell'adattatore di rete
1. Spegnere il computer.
2. Aprire il cabinet del computer ed esporre la scheda madre e gli slot di
espansione. Per ottenere assistenza per l'apertura del cabinet consultare il
manuale del computer.
3. Inserire l'adattatore di rete TE100-PCIWA in uno degli slot PCI disponibili
della scheda madre. Premere in maniera uniforme finché l'adattatore non è
alloggiato correttamente.
4. Per utilizzare la funzionalità Wake-On-LAN, collegare il cavo Wake-On-LAN
in dotazione al connettore Wake-On-LAN della scheda madre.
5. Fissare la staffa di metallo della scheda PCI al cabinet con una vite
standard.
6. Chiudere il cabinet e riavviare il computer.
7. Collegare il cavo Ethernet RJ-45 alla porta Ethernet di TE100-PCIWA e alla
rete Fast Ethernet 10/100 Mbps o al modem via cavo/DSL in uso.
8. Accendere il computer.

Installazione dell'adattatore di rete
1. Dopo aver riavviato il computer, viene visualizzata la finestra "Installazione
guidata Nuovo hardware". Fare clic su Avanti.
2. Inserire il dischetto dei driver TE100-PCIW Series nell'unità disco floppy del
computer. Selezionare Cerca il miglior driver per la periferica e fare clic
su Avanti.
3. Selezionare Specificare un percorso e fare clic su Sfoglia.

4. Fare doppio clic sull'unità disco floppy, ad esempio Floppy da 3,5 pollici
(A:). Selezionare la cartella denominata Win98 e fare clic su OK.
5. Fare clic su Avanti.

6. Dopo aver visualizzato il messaggio "È possibile installare il miglior driver
per questa periferica", fare clic su Avanti per installare il driver.
7. Potrebbe essere richiesto di inserire il CD-ROM di Windows 98. In tal caso,
inserire il CD-ROM di Windows 98 nell'unità CD-ROM e fare clic su OK.
8. Fare clic su Fine per completare la procedura di installazione del driver.

9. Fare clic su Sì. Il computer viene aggiornato con le nuove impostazioni.
Nota: se il messaggio non viene visualizzato, riavviare il computer
manualmente.
Windows ME/2000/XP
1. Windows rileva e installa automaticamente il driver appropriato per
l'adattatore di rete.

Troubleshooting
