Traynor TVM10 Battery Powered Combo-Amplifier

General

The Traynor TVM10 is a 10-Watt battery powered combo-amplifier that answers the need for a portable, all-purpose sound system. The TVM10 can be used practically anywhere. The amp features RCA auxiliary input jacks, which may be used to connect sound sources such as CD players, tape decks, MP3 players or even laptops (using the appropriate audio adapters).

Control Panel

Input 1
This versatile input has been optimized to accept either low or high-impedance microphones, although any line level signal may also be used. The combiconnector accepts cables with either an XLR or ¼inch TRS phone plugs.
Volume 1
The Channel 1 volume control adjusts the level of the audio signal connected to the Input 1 jack.
Input 2
An instrument (guitar, bass or keyboard) or a high impedance microphone may be connected to the TVM10 using this ¼-inch phone jack using a standard ¼-inch shielded cable.
Volume 2
The Channel 2 volume control adjusts the level of the signal connected to the Input 2 ¼-inch jack.

Equalization - General

The TVM10’s 4-band EQ adjusts the Bass, Low Mid, Hi Mid and Treble for inputs 1 and 2.
Note: The tone controls do not affect the RCA Aux (Media) Inputs.
It is suggested that all four controls be set to the center, or 0, position (nominal) prior to operation, adjustments may be made to achieve the desired tone. If feedback occurs while you are using a microphone, turn down the Treble and/or High Mid until it stops.

Aux. Inputs

The Aux. Input (Media) RCA jacks can be used to connect a tape deck, CD player, MP3 player, drum machine, computer or any line-level audio source. Since the TVM10 is a mono amplifier, these jacks sum the signals internally (mixing the incoming L and R stereo signals into a mono signal). Using a stereo signal? Connect to both RCA jacks as usual, so that both channels (L and R) are amplified. If the signal is mono, (e.g. the monitor or aux. output from a mixer), connect to either the L or R jack.
