Installation
Twinax SIC Card
(PS-T-SIC)
CAUTION: Wear a grounding device and observe electrostatic
discharge precautions when installing the Twinax SIC card. Failure to
observe this caution could result in circuit board failure.
To install Twinax SIC card:
1. Remove SIC slot cover plate from hub by removing two (2) 6-32
installation screws. NOTE: Retain screws for Step 5.
2. Carefully slide Twinax SIC card into onto hub installation guides
(inside hub SIC card installation slot) until SIC card is firmly seated
against internal circuit connector.
3. Install two (2) washers (provided) over the two external Twinax
connectors.
4. Slide metal enclosure over connectors, as shown.
5. Secure Twinax SIC card to hub using the two (2) retained 6-32
installation screws, as shown.
