CPSMC0100-200 Single-Slot PointSystem™ chassis intended for installation of
any PointSystem media converter slide-in-modules up to 6 W.
Media converters with part numbers that begin with CCSEF,
CGETF, CGFEB, CPSVT, or CSDTF cannot be used in the
CPSMC0100-200 chassis.
CPSMC0100-205
Single-Slot PointSystem™ chassis intended for installation of
any PointSystem media converter slide-in-modules up to 12 W.
This model is required for media converters with part numbers
that begin with CCSEF, CGETF, CGFEB, CPSVT, or CSDTF.

NOTE: Due to the unique power requirements in the United Kingdom (-UK),
Australia/New Zealand (-OZ), and South Africa (-SA), the power supply shipped
with the -200 model is the same as the -205 model. Consequently, ANY
PointSystem™ slide-in-module can be used with either chassis in the -UK, -OZ,
and -SA regions.

Installation
Installing a Slide-in-Module
CAUTION: Wear a grounding device and observe electrostatic discharge
precautions when installing the media converter slide-in-module in to the
single-slot chassis. Failure to observe this caution could result in damage to,
and subsequent failure of, the media converter slide-in-module.
The maximum power delivery capacity for the CPSMC0100-200 is 6 Watts.
The maximum power delivery capacity for the CPSMC0100-205 is 12 Watts.
To install a slide-in-module into the single-slot chassis:
1. Refer to the user’s guide that comes with the slide-in-module to ensure
that any switches or jumpers on the module’s circuit board are set
correctly for the site installation.
2. Carefully align the slide-in-module with the chassis installation guides
and slide the module into the installation slot.
3. Ensure that the slide-in-module is firmly seated inside the chassis.
4. Push in and rotate the attached panel fastener screw to secure the slidein-module to the chassis.

Power the Chassis
To supply AC power to the single-slot chassis:
1. Connect the barrel connector on the power adapter to the single-slot
chassis’ power port (located on the back of the chassis).
2. Connect the power adapter plug to AC power.
3. Verify that the single-slot chassis is powered by observing the illuminated
LED(s) on the installed slide-in-module.
To supply DC power to the single-slot chassis:
Consult the user's guide for the Transition Networks SPS1872-xx DC external
power supply for powering the single-slot chassis.
