Coil Enclosures
A. GENERAL
WARNING: These instructions should be used only by qualified individuals. These individuals should be specifically trained and experienced in the installa­tion of furnaces, related accessories, and comfort conditioning components. Improper installation can create a hazard which could result in property damage, personal injury, or death.
These instructions do not cover all variations in systems or provide for every possible contingency. Further in­formation may be desired or particular problems may arise which are not covered sufficiently by this manual. Contact your local distributor or the manufacturer as listed on the furnace nameplate.
B. INSPECTION
Check carefully for any shipping damage. This must be reported to and claims made against the transporta­tion company immediately. Check to be sure all major components are in the unit. Any missing parts should be reported to your supplier at once, and replaced with authorized parts only.

IMPORTANT:
IF ONLY INSTALLING COIL ENCLOSURE AND NOT A COIL AT THIS TIME, DO NOT THROW OUT THE PARTS-INSTRUCTION BAG ASSEMBLY. THE PARTS AND INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR INSTALLING THE "4TXA" AND "4PXA" MODELS. THE BAG MUST BE KEPT WITH THE UNIT FOR COIL INSTALLATION. ATTACH THE BAG TO THE UNIT WITH THE ADHESIVE STRIPS PRO­VIDED ON THE BAG.

Assembly Instructions
1. Lay one of the side panels on a flat surface. Fasten the front top angle to the side panel with two (2) screws as shown in Figure 2.

2. Fasten the front top angle to the other side panels with two (2) screws as shown in Figure 3.
3. Install two (2) screws into the front support bracket.

4. Install four (4) screws into the holes beside the tab cut-outs to secure the back support bracket.

5. Fasten the back panel to the side panels as shown in Figure 6.

6. Slide the coil and drain pan assembly inside the coil enclo­sure until it stops against the back as shown in Figure 7.

For BAYCLE14XX and BAYCLE17XX, six (6) screws are needed on the edges of this panel. For BAYCLE21XX and BAYCLE24XX, ten (10) screws are required. Near the top flange, use two (2) pop rivets to secure the back panel to the side panels. You may use screws if the furnace unit is an upflow model.

7. Line up the template along the center of the notch and the edge of the front panel as shown in Figure 8.
ALIGN THE TEMPLATE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE NOTCH IN THE SIDE FLANGE OF THE FRONT PANEL AS SHOWN BELOW
8. Cut out a section of the front panel inside the template inner edge for the field connection lines as shown in Figure 9.

9. Cut out the fiberglass insulation over the condensate holes. See Figure 10.

10. Fasten the front panel with screws as shown in Figure 11.
11. Insert the grommets into the field line bracket. Slide the bracket over the core tubes into place and secure to the front panel and side panel using five screws as shown in Figure 12.
