! July 10, 2007: The Production Change Information section has been added.
! May 8, 2007: 2007 model year has been added to Applicable Vehicles. Part numbers

and calibration data for 2007 model year have been added to the Parts Information
table and the Calibration Identification Chart. The Diagnostic Tester software
references have been updated to the latest version.

Previous versions of this TSB should be discarded.

Some 2005 – 2007 model year Tacoma vehicles equipped with a 1GR–FE engine may
exhibit an intermittent “no start” condition. Improvements have been made to the Engine
Control Module/ECM (SAE term: Powertrain Control Module/PCM) calibration to reduce
the possibility of this condition occurring. Please use the following procedure to update
the calibration.

This repair is covered under the Toyota Federal Emissions Warranty. This warranty is
in effect for 96 months or 80,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle’s
in-service date.
