CONGRATULATIONS ON PURCHASING YOUR NEW
TOTALLY WICKED GRIP VT100 ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE.

The Totally Wicked Grip VT100 is a stylish, highly functional e-cigarette design incorporating
an intelligent temperature control system, allowing you to finely tune your device to suit your
vaping style. Additionally, upgradeable firmware means that you will always be up to date.
The user is provided with six modes of operation; variable power (W); Bypass; variable
temperature with nickel coils (Ni); variable temperature with titanium coils (Ti); variable
temperature with stainless steel coils (SS) and temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR).
Each adjustable mode allows for incremental settings in terms of watts or temperature. The
Grip VT100 combines all of its functionality in a sleek and ergonomic, yet simple to use
package, suitable for all electronic cigarette users

Fitting a Battery:

The Grip VT100 utilises an 18650 or 26650
battery. To fit the battery simply remove
the battery cover on the back of the device
and insert the battery, ensuring the correct
polarity.

Note: The battery should be capable of at
least 25A constant discharge.

When using an 18650 battery the battery
should be slid into the battery sleeve
provided prior to installation.

Power On and Off:

The Grip VT100 uses a 5-click on/off
function. To switch the device on quickly
press the power button 5 times. The
screen will illuminate, indicating that the
device is powered on. After 30 seconds,
if there have been no button presses the
screen will power off and enter standby
mode, the previous screen will recover
once any button is pressed. Once the Grip
VT100 is powered on the user can press
the button 5 times to switch the device off,
the screen will power off to indicate that the
device is powered off.

Vaping:

Simply press the power button as you
inhale.

New Atomizer Installation:

When a new atomizer is connected or
the existing atomizer is disconnected and
reconnected, a message prompt may be
displayed – ‘New Coil Right, Same Coil
Left’. Press the right adjustment button
to confirm that a new atomizer has been
connected, or the left adjustment button to
confirm that the existing atomizer has been

reconnected. Note:
Selection of a new coil
should only be made
when the atomizer
and coil are at room
temperature.

Charging the Battery:

Charge the Grip VT100 via the USB cable
when connected to a powered USB port
or suitable wall adapter. The battery can
also be charged using a suitable external
charger.

Replacing the Battery:

To replace the 18650/ 26650 battery,
remove the magnetic battery cover on the
back of the device and remove the battery.
Replace with a charged battery, replace
the battery cover and continue vaping.

Locking the Power Button:

To lock the power button, slide the locking
switch - located above the power button

- to the right. To unlock the power button,
slide the switch to the left.

Shift between VW/Bypass/VT-Ni/VT-Ti/
VT-SS/TCR Modes:

When powered on, press the power button
3 times consecutively, the first row will flash
indicating that the right adjustment button
may be used to cycle through the VW/
Bypass/VT-Ni/VT-Ti/VT-SS/TCR modes.

VW Mode:

When in VW mode,
use the left or right
adjustment buttons to
decrease or increase
the level of wattage
respectively. The
available wattage
range is 1W – 100W.

Bypass Mode:

When in bypass mode
there is a direct voltage
output dependent on
battery voltage and
atomizer resistance.

VT Mode (Ni/Ti/SS):

When in VT mode, use the left or right adjustment buttons to
decrease or increase the temperature respectively. The available
temperature range is 100-315°C or 200-600°F. To adjust the
wattage level whilst in VT mode, press the power button 3 times
consecutively to activate the menu. Press the left adjustment button
once and the wattage value will flash, then use the right adjustment
button to adjust the wattage level. To lock/unlock the atomizer
resistance, press the power button 3 times consecutively to activate
the menu, then press the left adjustment button twice and the
atomizer value will flash, use the right adjustment button to lock/
unlock the atomizer resistance. Note: Only lock the atomizer when
the coil is at room temperature.

TCR Mode:

When in TCR mode and the
title is flashing indicating that
the menu is active, press the
left adjustment button once
and the sub-menu (M1, M2,
M3) will flash. Whilst the sub­menu is flashing press the
right button to shift between
M1, M2 and M3, then press
the power button to confirm.

Configuring TCR Mode:

To set the temperature coefficient
of resistance to match a particular
coil, when the device is powered
off simultaneously hold the
power button and the right
adjustment button to enter the TCR
configuration menu. Use the right
or left adjustment buttons to select
which to configure from M1, M2 and
M3 – this feature allows the TCR
values for 3 materials to be stored
to the device. Press the power

button to select the TCR value and then
use the adjustment buttons to increase
or decrease the value to your preference,
long press the power button or leave
the device for 10 seconds to confirm the
selection.

Note: The TCR value displayed is (100,000) times
greater than the actual TCR value and is for Grip
VT100 usage only.

Puff Counter, Puff Duration
and PCB Temperature:

The puff counter, puff duration and PCB
temperature are displayed on the third
row of the display on the left. To shift
between each option, press the power
button 3 times to activate the menu and
use the left adjustment button to select
the user information section. Press the
right adjustment button to shift between
puff counter, puff duration and PCB
temperature.

Battery Charge:

The battery charge is
displayed on the fourth
row of the display.

Current Display:

The real-time current
is displayed on the
screen on the third row
of the display on the
right whilst the power
button is pressed.

Battery Voltage:

To display the battery
voltage, whilst the
device is powered off,
hold the power button
and left adjustment
button simultaneously
and the battery voltage
will be displayed on
the screen.

Stealth Mode:

When powered on, simultaneously hold
the power button and the left adjustment
button to activate stealth mode. Repeat the
process to deactivate stealth mode.

Key Lock Mode:

When powered on, simultaneously hold
both adjustment buttons for 3 seconds
to activate key lock mode. Repeat the
process to deactivate key lock mode.

Display Modes:

When powered off, hold both adjustment
buttons to turn the display through 180.
Two display states are available.
Malfunction Indication and Protection

Atomizer Protection:

In VT mode, if the actual temperature of
the coil reaches the set temperature, ‘temp
protection’ will be displayed.

Short Circuit Protection:

If a short circuit occurs when the power
button is pressed, ‘atomizer short’ will be
displayed on the screen.

No Atomizer Alert:

When no atomizer is detected, ‘No
Atomizer Found’ will be displayed on the
screen.

Atomizer Low Alert:

When the resistance of the atomizer is
lower than 0.1Ω in VW/Bypass mode or
lower than 0.05Ω in VT mode, ‘Atomizer
Low’ will be displayed on the screen.

Low Voltage Protection:

When the battery voltage is below 3.3V,
‘Battery Low’ will be displayed on the
screen. If the button is continually pressed
following this message, the message
‘Battery Low Lock’ will be displayed and
the device will not power.

Low Battery Alert:

When the battery reaches lower than 10%
capacity, the power symbol on the screen
will flash continuously.

Weak Battery Alert:

When the device is firing, if the voltage
of the battery drops below 2.9V ‘Weak
Battery’ will be displayed on the screen.

Temperature Protection:

If the temperature of the device exceeds
70C, the output will automatically cease
and the message ‘Device Too Hot’ will be
displayed.

10 Second Protection:

If the power button is pressed for
longer than 10 seconds, the output will
automatically cease and the message
‘Over 10s Protection’ will be displayed.

Upgrading Firmware

To upgrade the firmware, visit the
corresponding product page on the
Totally Wicked website and follow the link
provided. Connect the Grip VT100 to a
PC via the micro USB cable provided and
follow the instructions to complete the
installation.

PRECAUTIONS

DO’s

• Store the Grip VT100 and its accessories away from children when not in use.

• Ensure the Grip VT100 is powered off when not in use.

• Avoid accidentally pressing the Grip VT100 power button when not in use.

• Remove the battery when you do not intend to use the Grip VT100 for several days.

• Please only use the charging cable provided.

• Please dispose of dead batteries in accordance with your country’s appropriate
legislation.

• Use only a maximum of 1.5ohm when in VT mode. The mode will automatically be
switched to VW mode when the coil is larger than 1.5ohm or a normal coil is used.

• When in bypass mode, only use atomizers in the range of 0.1 – 3.5ohm.

DON’Ts

• Do not charge the batteries in a damp environment.

• Do not use the device when temperatures are outside the range -10 - 60°C.

• Do not charge the battery when temperatures are outside the range 0 - 45°C.

• Do not carry batteries in a pocket or bag with other metallic objects.

• Do not attempt to repair a faulty Grip VT100 as these are sealed units with no serviceable
parts. Attempted repairs will void the warranty.

The Grip VT100 components have a 28-day parts warranty. The USB cable supplied has
a 12-month warranty. If any parts are found to be faulty within this time please contact
our customer service team, whose details are on the back page of this booklet and
we will arrange for a replacement. We may require the goods to be returned for further
investigation.
