PM5-V 12.0 Gbit/s enterprise SAS SSD is optimized for mixed use applications, including SQL server, media streaming, data warehousing and web services. The Series is designed to deliver balanced levels of performance, reliability, capacity and endurance for mixed use and read intensive environments.
Featuring Toshiba Memory Corporation’s 64-layer BiCS FLASHTM 3D memory, this 5th generation enterprise SAS SSD PM5-V offers 3 DWPD (Drive Writes Per Day) with capacities up to 7.68 TB.
The PM5 Series is our 5th generation enterprise 12.0Gbit/s SAS SSD and utilizes Toshiba Memory Corporations 64-layer 3D flash memory BiCS FLASHTM. The PM5 mixed use series is optimized for web server, SQL server and read intensive storage application, requiring a balance of reliability, capacity and endurance.
Further features of the impressive series include power-loss protection and data path protection. Each model is available as a self-encrypting drive with sanitize instant erase and supports pin-3 power disable for improved enclosure services control over storage media.
