Positioning and connecting
The following describes the initial set up procedure in order to operate all of the features of your TV.

The 1720RB has a built-in set-top aerial. If the
picture quality is poor, due to a weak signal, you
may need to use an alternative aerial (in the loft
or on the roof). Your local dealer will be able to
advise you accordingly.
If you wish to connect a video recorder, satellite
decoder etc. to the TV you will need to plug an
external aerial into the back of the auxiliary
equipment and then from the auxiliary
equipment to the TV as shown on page 13.
