•Thegrasscatchercanobstructtheviewtothe

rear.Useextracarewhenoperatinginreverse.

•Usecarewhenloadingorunloadingthemachine

intoatrailerortruck.

•Neveroperatewiththedischargedeectorraised,

removedoraltered,unlessusingagrasscatcher.

•Keephandsandfeetawayfrommovingparts.Do

notmakeadjustmentswiththeenginerunning.

•Parkthemachineonlevelground,disengage

thedrives,chockthewheels,andshutoffthe
enginebeforeleavingtheoperator'spositionfor
anyreasonincludingemptyingthegrasscatcher
oruncloggingthechute.

•Ifyouremovethegrasscatcher,besuretoinstall

anydischargedeectororguardthatmighthave
beenremovedtoinstallthegrasscatcher.Donot
operatethemowerwithouteithertheentiregrass
catcherorthegrassdeectorinplace.

•Shutofftheenginebeforeremovingthegrass

catcheroruncloggingthechute.

•Donotleavegrassinthegrasscatcherfor

extendedperiodsoftime.

•Grasscatchercomponentsaresubjecttowear,

damageanddeterioration,whichcouldexpose
youtomovingpartsorallowobjectstobethrown.
Frequentlycheckcomponentsandreplacewith
themanufacturer'srecommendedparts,when
necessary.
