Neveroperatetheappliancewithdefectiveguardsorshields,or
withoutsafetydevicesinplace,suchasthevacuumbag/vacuum tubeorblowertube/inletcover.
OnlyuseaCEapproved,weatherproofextensioncordttedwith
theproperplugforyourlocation,accordingtolocalordinances.
Operation
Donotusetheapplianceonwetsurfaces.Donotexposeitto
rain.Storeitindoors.
Donothandleplugorappliancewithwethands.
Alwaysdirectthecordtotherearawayfromtheappliance.
Ifacordbecomesdamagedduringuse,disconnectthesupply
cordfromthemainsimmediately.Donottouchthecordbefore
disconnectingthesupply .
Donotcarrytheappliancebythecord,usethecordasahandle,
closeadooronthecord,orpullthecordaroundsharpedgesor corners.Keepthecordawayfromheatedsurfaces.
Turnoffallcontrolsbeforeunplugging.
Donotunplugbypullingoncord.T ounplug,grasptheplug,not
thecord.
Disconnecttheappliancefromthepowersourceasfollows:

AssemblingtheBlower
Partsneededforthisprocedure:
Installtheblowertubeandthentheinletcoverontotheblowerhousing.
NOTICE!Youmustinstalltheblowertubebeforeinstallingthe inletcoverbecausetheinletcoverhooksontotheblowertube. Theblowerwillnotrununlessthebottominletcoverislocked inplace.
1.Removetheinletcoverandtheblowertubefromtheblower housing.
2.Installthevacuumtubeontotheblowerhousingandconnectthe lowervacuumtubetotheuppertube,securingitwiththesupplied fastener.

ConnectingtoaPowerSource
Thepowersupplyyouusewiththisapplianceshouldbearesidential currentdevice(RCD)withatrippingcurrentofnotmorethan30mA. UseonlyaCEapprovedextensioncordrecommendedforoutdoor use.Donotchangetheapplianceorextensioncordpluginanyway.
WARNING

Starting/Stopping/AdjustingtheAirSpeed
UsingtheVacuum

thebagzipperopen.
Donotvacuumsharp,pointed,orhardobjectsthatcouldbe
thrownthroughthefabricofthebag,suchaswires,staples, nails,orrocks.
UsingtheConcentratorNozzleAccessory
Installtheconcentratornozzleintotheblowertubetohelpreachinto narrowspacesortoremovematteddebrisfromhardsurfaces.
Removetheconcentratornozzlewhennished.
UsingtheBlower
Theblowerisintendedforresidentialuseonly.Usetheblower outdoorstomovedebrisasneeded.
WARNING
Theblowercanthrowdebris,possiblycausingseriouspersonal injurytotheoperatororbystanders.
Donotblowhardobjectssuchasnails,bolts,orrocks.
Donotoperatetheblowernearbystandersorpets.
Useextracarewhencleaningdebrisfromstairsorothertight

Wearsafetygogglesorothersuitableeyeprotection,long
pants,andshoes.
NOTICE!Vacuumonlyleavesandsoftitems.Harditemssuchas sticks,rocks,acorns,andpineconeswilldamagetheimpeller.
NOTICE!Donotforcethevacuumtubeintoapileofdebrisor holdthetubeuprightwhileforcefeedingdebrisintothetube. Eitheractionmaycloganddamagetheimpeller.Ifthevacuum startstovibrateormakeabnormalnoise,stopit,unplugthecord, andcheckforthecause.
EmptyingtheBag
1.Turnoffandunplugthevacuumfromthepowersource.
2.Emptyanydebrisfromthebag.
Donotstoredebrisinthebag.Tocleanthebag,turnitinsideout andshakeoutanyexcessdebris.Onceayear,handwashthe baginsoapywaterandallowittoairdry.
DANGER
Normalusageofthebagcausesittowearanddeteriorate overtime.Awornordeterioratedbagallowssmallobjectsto bethrownthroughthebag,possiblyinjuringtheoperator orbystanders.
Checkthebagfrequently.Ifitiswornordeteriorated,replace itwithagenuineT orovacuumbag.

RemovingCloggedDebrisfromthe Impeller
1.Turnoffandunplugthevacuumfromthepowersourceandwait forallmovingpartstostop.
2.Removethevacuumtube.

Inadouble-insulated(Class2)appliance,twosystemsofinsulation areprovidedinsteadofgrounding.Nogroundingmeansisprovided onadouble-insulated(Class2)appliance,norshouldameansfor groundingbeaddedtotheappliance.Servicingadouble-insulated (Class2)appliancerequiresextremecareandknowledgeofthe system,andshouldbedoneonlybythequaliedservicepersonnel atyourAuthorizedT oroServiceDealer.Replacementpartsfora double-insulated(Class2)appliancemustbeidenticaltothepartsthey replace.Adouble-insulated(Class2)applianceismarkedwiththe
symbol(squarewithinasquare).
Storage
Storetheblower/vacuumandextensioncordindoors,inacooldry location,outofreachofchildrenandanimals.
3.Removethedebrisfromimpellerblades.
4.Checktheimpellerforanysignsofdamage.Ifitisdamaged, contactyourAuthorizedT oroDealer .
5.Installthevacuumtubeor,ifyouwanttoswitchtoblowermode, thebottominletcover.RefertoConvertingfromBlowertoVacuum orConvertingfromVacuumtoBlowerformoreinformation.
Troubleshooting
Ensurethatthebottominletcoverorvacuumtubeislockedin
place.
Ensurethatthepowercordissecuredinplaceonthebackofthe
blowerandthattheplugisfullyseated.
