1.Stopthemotorandremovethebattery.
2.Cleandirtanddebrisfromthebodyofthehedgetrimmer, usingadampclothwithamilddetergent.
Note:Donotuseanystrongdetergentsontheplastic housingorthehandle.Theycanbedamagedbycertain aromaticoilssuchaspineandlemon,andbysolventssuch askerosene.
3.Laythehedgetrimmeronaatsurface.Applylightweight machineoilalongtheedgeofthetopblade.Ifyouwillbe usingthehedgetrimmerforanextendedperiodoftime,itis advisabletooilthebladeduringuse.
