PreparingtheBatteryPack forRecycling

OilingtheTrimmerBlade

Note:Oilthetrimmerbladebeforeandaftereach
use.
1.Stopthemotorandremovethebattery.
2.Cleandirtanddebrisfromthebodyofthe hedgetrimmer,usingadampclothwithamild detergent.
Note:Donotuseanystrongdetergentson
theplastichousingorthehandle.Theycanbe damagedbycertainaromaticoils,suchaspine andlemon,andbysolventssuchaskerosene.
3.Laythehedgetrimmeronaatsurface.Apply light-weightmachineoilalongtheedgeofthe topblade.Ifyouwillbeusingthehedgetrimmer foranextendedperiodoftime,oiltheblade duringuse.
Note:Donotoilthehedgetrimmerwhileitis
running.

Storage

Important:Uponremoval,covertheterminalsof
thebatterypackwithheavy-dutyadhesivetape. Donotattempttodestroyordisassemblethe batterypackorremoveanyofitscomponents. Recycleorproperlydisposeoflithium-ionbattery packsatabatteryrecyclingfacility.
