powertools.Suchpreventivesafetymeasuresreduce

•Keepallpartsofthebodyawayfromthecutterblade.Do

notremovecutmaterialorholdmaterialtobecutwhen
bladesaremoving.Makesuretheswitchisoffwhen
clearingjammedmaterial.Bladescoastafterturnoff.A

momentofinattentionwhileoperatingthehedgetrimmermay
resultinseriouspersonalinjury.

•Carrythehedgetrimmerbythehandlewiththecutter

bladestopped.Whentransportingorstoringthehedge
trimmeralwaystthecuttingdevicecover.Proper

handlingofthehedgetrimmerwillreducepossiblepersonal
injuryfromthecutterblades.

•Holdthepowertoolbyinsulatedgrippingsurfacesonly,

becausethecutterblademaycontacthiddenwiringorits
owncord.Cutterbladescontactinga“live”wiremaymake

exposedmetalpartsofthepowertool“live”andcouldgive
theoperatoranelectricshock.

•Keepcableawayfromcuttingarea.Duringoperationthe

cablemaybehiddeninshrubsandcanbeaccidentallycut
bytheblade.

•DANGER–Keephandsawayfromblade.Contactwith

bladewillresultinseriouspersonalinjury .
