Whengoingupordownhill,themachinecould overturniftheheavyendistowardthedownhill side.Someonemaybepinnedorseriously injuredbythemachineifitoverturns.
Operateupanddownslopeswiththeheavyend ofthemachineuphill.Carryingaloadwith themulti-purposetoolwillmakethefrontend heavy.
Ifthebucketisnotkeptlevelwhilelifting,the loadcouldbeinadvertentlydumpedonthe operator,causinginjury.
Whenliftingthebucket,tiltitforwardtokeepit levelandpreventitfromspillingbackward.
StabilityRatings
Whentheengineisoff,attachmentsinthe raisedpositioncangraduallylower.Someone nearbymaybepinnedorinjuredbythe attachmentasitlowers.
Alwayslowertheattachmentlifteachtimeyou shutoffthetractionunit.
Ifyoustepoffoftheplatformwiththeload raised,themachinecouldtipforward.Someone nearbymaybepinnedorinjured.
Lowertheloadbeforesteppingoffofthe platform.
Todeterminethedegreeofslopeyoucantraversewith thebucketinstalledonatractionunit,ndthestability ratingforthehillpositionyouwanttotravelinthe appropriatetableonthefollowingpage,thenndthe degreeofslopeforthesameratingandhillpositionin theStabilityDatasectionofthetractionunitoperator’s manual.

RefertoyourtractionunitOperator’sManualformore informationoninstallingandremovingthebucket fromyourtractionunit.
Whenloadingmaterial,alwayshavethebucketlevel totheground,movingforwardintothematerialtobe lifted.Whenthebucketisfull,tiltitgentlyrearwardsto decreasetheliftingresistancewhenyoulifttheload.
Whentransportingaload,keepthebucketascloseto thegroundaspossible.
