CheckingtheFluidLevels
Beforestartingtheengineforthersttime,checktheengine oilandhydraulicuidlevels.RefertotheOperator’sManual formoreinformation.
SettingtheEngineRPM(CE Only)
IfyouaresettingupthismachineforuseintheEuropean Community,youneedtopermanentlyadjusttheenginespeed sothatitdoesnotrunabove3200RPM,asfollows:
1.Starttheengineandrunitathalfthrottlefor5to10 minutestowarmitup.
Important:Theenginemustbewarmbefore makingthisadjustment.
2.MovethethrottlelevertotheFastposition.
3.Checktheenginespeedusingatachometer.Itshould bearound3600RPM.
4.Loosenthejamnutsecuringthehighidleadjusting screwontheengine(locatedonthethrottlecable supportbracket—Figure2).
3.Whenthebatteryisfullycharged,unplugthecharger fromtheelectricaloutlet,thendisconnectthecharger leadsfromthebatteryposts(Figure1).
4.Closetherearaccesscover.

YoumustmaintainyourT oroProductbyfollowingthemaintenance proceduresdescribedintheOperator’sManual.Suchroutinemaintenance, whetherperformedbyadealerorbyyou,isatyourexpense.Parts scheduledforreplacementasrequiredmaintenance(“MaintenanceParts”), arewarrantedfortheperiodoftimeuptothescheduledreplacementtime forthatpart.Failuretoperformrequiredmaintenanceandadjustmentscan begroundsfordisallowingawarrantyclaim.

Notallproductfailuresormalfunctionsthatoccurduringthewarrantyperiod aredefectsinmaterialsorworkmanship.Thisexpresswarrantydoesnot coverthefollowing:

NeitherTheToroCompanynorT oroWarrantyCompanyisliablefor indirect,incidentalorconsequentialdamagesinconnectionwiththe useoftheToroProductscoveredbythiswarranty,includingany costorexpenseofprovidingsubstituteequipmentorserviceduring reasonableperiodsofmalfunctionornon-usependingcompletionof repairsunderthiswarranty.Allimpliedwarrantiesofmerchantability andtnessforusearelimitedtothedurationofthisexpresswarranty . Somestatesdonotallowexclusionsofincidentalorconsequential damages,orlimitationsonhowlonganimpliedwarrantylasts,sothe aboveexclusionsandlimitationsmaynotapplytoyou.
Thiswarrantygivesyouspeciclegalrights,andyoumayalsohaveother rightswhichvaryfromstatetostate.
