Starting the Engine
1. Move the throttle
lever between Fast and
Slow.
Driving
Neutral/Stop
2. Move the Choke
lever to On.
3. Turn the
ignition key
to Start until
the engine
starts.
4. Gradually move
the choke lever to
Off.
5. Adjust the throttle
lever as desired.

Stopping the Engine

1. Move the throttle
lever to Slow.
3. Turn the ignition
key to Stop.

2. Lower the loader
arms.
4. Remove the ignition
key.
Carry loads as low as possible.
On slopes or when loading onto a
trailer, keep the heavy end uphill. With
no attachment, an empty bucket, or
another light attachment the back is
the heavy end; with a full bucket or a
hydraulic attachment, the front is the
heavy end.

Connecting an Attachment

3. Ensure that
the pins are
engaged in the
holes in the
attachment
mounting
plate.

1. Stop the
engine.
2. Slowly cycle the
hydraulics lever 3 times.

3. Release the
hydraulics lever into
Neutral.
4. Clean the couplers and then
push the attachment hydraulic
couplers into the couplers on the
traction unit.

Disconnecting Hydraulics
1. Stop the
engine.
3. Release
the hydraulics
lever into
Neutral.
4. Pull back the collar on the female hydraulic
couplers and pull the attachment couplers from
the traction unit couplers.
Place the caps
over the traction
unit couplers.
2. Slowly cycle
the hydraulics
lever
3 times.

Loading the Traction Unit on a Trailer
1. Load the traction unit onto the trailer with the
heavy end uphill.
2. Set the parking brake.
3. Secure the
traction unit
with chains or
straps.
