3.Carefullypourabout3/4oftheenginecapacityofoil intotheoil-lltube.
4.Wipethedipstickcleanwithacleancloth.
5.Insertthedipstickintotheoil-lltube,butdonot screwitin,thenremovethedipstick.
6.Readtheoillevelonthedipstick(Figure5).
IftheoillevelisbelowtheAddmarkonthe
dipstick,carefullypourasmallamountofoilinto theoil-lltube,wait3minutes,andrepeatsteps3 through5untiltheoillevelisattheFullmarkon thedipstick.
IftheoillevelisabovetheFullmarkonthe
dipstick,draintheexcessoiluntiltheoillevelisat theFullmarkonthedipstick;refertoChanging
theEngineOil(page13).
Important:Iftheoillevelintheengineistoo lowortoohighandyouruntheengine,youmay damagetheengine.
