6.Insertthedipstickintotheoil-lltube,then removethedipstick.

7.Readtheoillevelonthedipstick(Figure7).
Iftheoillevelonthedipstickistoolow,
carefullypourasmallamountofoilintothe oil-lltube,wait3minutes,andrepeatsteps
5through7untiltheoilonthedipstickisat
thecorrectlevel.
Iftheoillevelonthedipstickistoohigh,drain
theexcessoiluntiltheoilonthedipstickis atthecorrectlevel;refertoChangingthe
EngineOil(page17).
Important:Iftheoillevelintheengineistoo
lowortoohighandyouruntheengine,you maydamagetheengine.
8.Installthedipsticksecurely.
