deector(Figure1 1).
Neveroperatethemachineunlessyou
installamulchplate,dischargedeector,
orgrasscollectionsystem.

GeneralSafety
•Becomefamiliarwithalloperatingandsafety
instructionsintheOperator'sManualforyour
machinebeforeusingthisattachment.
•Beforedoinganyofthefollowingproceduresor
leavingtheoperator’sposition:
–DisengagethePTOandengagetheparking
brake.
–Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostop.
•Donotremovethebagwhiletheengineisrunning.
•Alwaysshutofftheengine,waitforallmoving
partstostop,andremovethekeybeforeclearing
anobstructionfromthebaggingsystem.
•Donotdomaintenanceorrepairswhiletheengine
isrunning.
RemovingtheBaggerfrom

forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe

3.Liftthelatchesandremoveandemptythegrass
bag.

Mowwiththeleftsidetowardsobjectssuchastrees
orlandscaping.Donotmowwiththerightsideofthe
machinenearobjectsbecauseyoucoulddamage
thebagger.
MowingRoughTerrain
Whenmowingroughoruneventerrain,usecareto
avoiddamagingthebaggeragainsttheturf.
AvoidCuttingTooLow
Airowisrequiredtocutgrassandpropelitintothe
bag.Settingtheheight-of-cuttoolow,especiallyin
heavyorlonggrass,canrestricttheairowandplug
themachineorgrasscatcher.
AvoidPlugging
Toavoidpluggingwhencuttinglonggrass,double-cut
thegrass,rstatahighheight-of-cutandthenlower
themachinetothedesiredsetting.Also,trytoleave
onesideofthemachineoutoftheuncutgrass,
allowingairtobedrawnintothemachinehousing.

1.DisengagethePTOandengagetheparking
brake.

Beforestorage
1.Inspectallthefastenersandlatches;replace
anythataremissingordamaged.
2.Inspectthebagfordamageandreplaceany
damagedparts.
3.Tightenallhardware.
WARNING
Youorbystanderscouldbeseverely
injuredbyyingdebrisorthrownobjects
thatmaypassthroughtorn,worn,or
deterioratedgrassbags.
•Checkthegrassbagsforholes,rips,
wear,andotherdeterioration.
•Ifthebaghasdeteriorated,install
newgrassbagssuppliedby
themanufacturerofthisbagger
attachment.
CleaningtheBagger
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
Cleanthebaggeraftereachuse.
1.Removethebagandwashthebackplateand
theundersideofthemachine.Useamild
automotivedetergenttoremovestubborndirt.
Important:Donotpressurewashthe
bagger.
2.Removemattedgrassfromallparts.
3.Afterwashing,letallpartsdrythoroughly .
Note:Donotwashthegrassbag.
StoringtheGrassCatcher
1.Cleanthebagger;refertoCleaningtheBagger
(page9).
2.Inspectthebaggerfordamage;referto
InspectingtheBagger(page9).
3.Ensurethatthebagisemptyanddry.
4.Storethebaggerinaclean,dryplace,outof
directsunlight.Thisextendsthelifeofthe
bagger.Ifyoumuststoreitoutside,coveritwith
aweatherproofcover.
