1.Removethecotterpin(Figure11).
RetainthepinforuseinStep4in6Installingthe
BaggerontotheMachine(page6).
2.Disengagethespringfromthenotchinthe deectorbracketandslidetherodoutofthe weldeddeckbrackets,spring,anddischarge deector(Figure1 1).
Neveroperatethemachineunlessyou installamulchplate,dischargedeector, orgrasscollectionsystem.

Becomefamiliarwithalloperatingandsafety
instructionsintheOperator'sManualforyour machinebeforeusingthisattachment.
Beforedoinganyofthefollowingproceduresor
leavingtheoperator’sposition:
–DisengagethePTOandengagetheparking
brake.
–Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostop.
Donotremovethebagwhiletheengineisrunning.
Alwaysshutofftheengine,waitforallmoving
partstostop,andremovethekeybeforeclearing anobstructionfromthebaggingsystem.
Donotdomaintenanceorrepairswhiletheengine
isrunning.
RemovingtheBaggerfrom
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe operatingposition.
3.Liftthelatchesandremoveandemptythegrass bag.
4.Useastickorsimilarobject,notyourhands toremoveandcleartheobstructionfromthe machine.
5.Insertthelowerpinsofthebaggerframeintothe holesinthebackplate(Figure13).
6.Liftthelatchesandslidetheframesidepinsinto them(Figure13).
7.Lowerthelatchestosecurethebagger.

Mowwiththeleftsidetowardsobjectssuchastrees orlandscaping.Donotmowwiththerightsideofthe machinenearobjectsbecauseyoucoulddamage thebagger.
MowingRoughTerrain
Whenmowingroughoruneventerrain,usecareto avoiddamagingthebaggeragainsttheturf.
AvoidCuttingTooLow
Airowisrequiredtocutgrassandpropelitintothe bag.Settingtheheight-of-cuttoolow,especiallyin heavyorlonggrass,canrestricttheairowandplug themachineorgrasscatcher.
AvoidPlugging
Toavoidpluggingwhencuttinglonggrass,double-cut thegrass,rstatahighheight-of-cutandthenlower themachinetothedesiredsetting.Also,trytoleave onesideofthemachineoutoftheuncutgrass, allowingairtobedrawnintothemachinehousing.

1.DisengagethePTOandengagetheparking brake.

ServiceInterval:Aftertherst10hours
Beforestorage
1.Inspectallthefastenersandlatches;replace anythataremissingordamaged.
2.Inspectthebagfordamageandreplaceany damagedparts.
3.Tightenallhardware.
WARNING
Youorbystanderscouldbeseverely injuredbyyingdebrisorthrownobjects thatmaypassthroughtorn,worn,or deterioratedgrassbags.
Checkthegrassbagsforholes,rips, wear,andotherdeterioration.
Ifthebaghasdeteriorated,install newgrassbagssuppliedby themanufacturerofthisbagger attachment.
CleaningtheBagger
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
Cleanthebaggeraftereachuse.
1.Removethebagandwashthebackplateand theundersideofthemachine.Useamild automotivedetergenttoremovestubborndirt.
Important:Donotpressurewashthe
bagger.
2.Removemattedgrassfromallparts.
3.Afterwashing,letallpartsdrythoroughly .
Note:Donotwashthegrassbag.
StoringtheGrassCatcher
1.Cleanthebagger;refertoCleaningtheBagger
(page9).
2.Inspectthebaggerfordamage;referto
InspectingtheBagger(page9).
3.Ensurethatthebagisemptyanddry.
4.Storethebaggerinaclean,dryplace,outof directsunlight.Thisextendsthelifeofthe bagger.Ifyoumuststoreitoutside,coveritwith aweatherproofcover.
