Roof Stereo Kit
NOTE: Read these installation instructions thoroughly before beginning the installation process. Retain these Installation Instructions for future reference.

NOTE: If installing Stereo Kit in a Headliner Kit (p/n 1436-103) refer to the 1436-104 instructions.
1. Remove the LXC Roof from the vehicle (if needed).
2. Using the Speaker manufacture's instructions, cut out each template and place it in the center of each speaker boss; then cut each hole using an appropriate tool. See Fig. 1.

4. Remove the stereo din sleeve from Stereo, then using a white marker, mark the LXC Roof (p/n 1436-500) using the stereo din sleeve as a tem­plate.
NOTE: Make sure the area marked is not larger than the sleeve or the sleeve will not fit properly.
5. Using a suitable tool, cut along the marked area.
6. Using a suitable tool, remove enough area in the bottom middle rear portion of the stereo din sleeve. Insert Stereo Strap through the sleeve and bend approximately 1/2-in. around the sleeve. See Fig. 3 and 4.

3. Follow the Antenna manufacturer's instructions for installing the antenna. Arctic Cat recom­mends installing the antenna in location shown below. See Fig. 2.

7. Locate the center mounting location (A) where the windshield mounts to the roof; then using a 3/16-in. drill bit, drill a hole aligned with the center mounting location. See Fig. 4 and 5.

9. Secure the back of the stereo by installing Strap Mount Machine Screw through the hole in the roof (drill in step 5) and through the closest hole in the stereo strap and secure using a Nut. Tighten until snug.
NOTE: Before installing the speakers, be sure to drill a hole in the rear right-side corner so the accessory plug can be routed through. See Fig. 7.

10. Route the Harness to each speaker location; then install the speaker clips onto the edge of the speaker mounting locations. Tape the clips in place to aid the installation. See Fig. 8.

8. Follow the stereo manufacturer’s instructions for installing the stereo din sleeve. Make sure all tabs are bent so the sleeve is secured to the roof. See Fig. 6.

11. Connect the speaker wires to the speakers and secure using the supplied screws; then install the speaker screens. See Fig. 9.
