NOTE: It is recommended that this kit be installed by an authorized Arctic Cat ATV dealer.
NOTE: Refer to the appropriate Arctic Cat ATV/ ROV Service Manual for more specific instruc­tions.
1. On Prowler models, remove the seats and center console and floor; then remove the left-side seat­base. Retain all hardware.
NOTE: On Prowler HDX models, remove the seat, seat base, and floor. Retain all hardware.
2. On ATV models, remove the right-side footwell. Retain all hardware.

6. Remove the movable drive face plate; then remove and retain existing rollers.
7. Install new Rollers. See Fig. 3.

3. Remove the machine screws securing the V-belt cover. Retain all machine screws.
4. Remove the nut and flat washer securing the drive clutch. Retain nut and flat washer. See Fig. 1.
NOTE: The clutch assembly must be cleaned before proceeding.

5. Remove the movable drive face and spacer. See Fig. 2.

8. Install new Spacer and existing spacer. See Fig. 4.

CAUTION
Release the belt tension by installing a machine screw (removed in step 2) into the driven pulley until the pulley is completely opened or damage may occur.
9. Install existing movable drive face plate; then install movable drive face onto clutch housing. See Fig. 5.

NOTE: At this time remove the machine screw from the driven pulley.
11. Rotate the V-belt and drive clutch and driven pul­ley until the V-belt is properly seated in the driven pulley.
NOTE: The V-belt will not be flush with the driven pulley with this kit installed. See Fig. 8.

10. Using Spanner Wrench (p/n 0544-005), secure the drive clutch with flat washer and nut (threads coated with red Loctite #271). Tighten the nut to 165 ft-lb. See Fig. 6 and 7.
CAUTION
Make sure the splines extend beyond the drive face or a false torque reading and spline damage will occur.

12. Secure the V-belt cover using existing machine screws. Tighten to 8 ft-lb.
13. On ATV models, install existing right-side foot­well using existing hardware.
14. On Prowler models, install the floor, left-side seat base, console, and seats.
NOTE: On Prowler HDX models, install the floor, seat base, and seat.
