Installation
Settheparkingbrake,stoptheengine,removethekey,and
waitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
1.Locateandremovethetimedrelaybypullingupon
therelayhousing.
2.Usingavolt/ohm,identifythelocationoftherelaycoil
groundbycheckingcontinuitybetweenthebattery
negativeterminalandtherelayreceptacleinthe
positionnotedFigure1.
Note:Thepolaritymustbecorrectforthetimedelay
relaytofunctionproperly.

6.Usingasmallscrewdriverorpick,pushdownfromthe
topofthereceptacleonthenarrowsideoftheopening.
Note:Theterminallockingtabwillcompressallowing
theterminalandwiretoberemovedfromthebottom
ofthereceptacle.
7.Repeatfortheoppositesideterminal.
8.Verifycontinuityfromthebatterynegativecabletothe
terminalnotedonFigure1.
9.Verifythatthelockingtabisprotrudingfromthe
femaleconnector(refertoFigure2)toassureapositive
lockintotherelayreceptacle.Bendthetaboutif
necessary.

youfeelasmallclickandgentlypullbackonthewire
toassureagoodlockonthereceptacle.Repeatforthe
otherterminal.
11.Attachtherelayreceptacletothemachine

settingsarecorrect.Ifthesettingsarecorrect,contact
customerserviceforfurtherassistance.
