Pre-installationProcedures

1.Ifyouhavearemovabletrencherattachment,install thetrencheronthetractionunit.

2.Startthetractionunitandmoveittoaatsurface withaccesstothetrencherboomfromallsides.

3.Lower/raisethetrencherboomsothatitisparallel withtheground.

4.Runthechainslowlyforwarduntilthelinkwiththe clevispinsecuringitisatthenoseofthechain.The toothafterthisispositionA(Figure1).

5.Placeablockundertheboomtopreventitfrom lowering,stoptheengine,andremovethekey.

Themovingteethandaugerwillseverelycut hands,feet,orotherbodyparts.

•Keephands,feet,andanyotherpartofyour bodyorclothingawayfrommovingteeth, auger,orotherparts.

•Beforeworkingonthechain,lowerthe trenchertotheblock,stoptheengine,wait forallmovingpartstostop,andremovethe key.
