1.Removethe2boltsthatholdtheBBCbaillatch,the
2curvedwashers,andthespringtothehandle.
Note:DiscardtheBBCbaillatch,curvedwashers,
andthespring.
2.Removethe2nutsthatholdthebladecontrolbail
tothehandle.
3.Removethebladecontrolbail.
4.Removetheouterbushing,thetractioncontrolbail,
andtheinnerbushing.
Note:Discardthebladecontrol(upper)bailand
the2bushings.
5.DisconnecttheBBCcablefromthethrottle/choke
controlassembly.
Note:Removetheretainingringandsaveit.
6.Removethethrottle/chokecontrolandthecurved
washersfromthehandle.
Note:Discardthecurvedwashers.
7.Installthethrottle/chokecontrolontothehandle
usingthenewcurvedwashers.
8.InstalltheBBCcablebracketwithanewcurved
washer.
15.Installthebladecontrolbailontothehandle.
Note:Ensurethatyouengagethespring,withone
endofthespringunderthegroundspeedselector
plateandtheotherendofthespringhookedonto
thebladecontrolbailtab(Figure1).

13.Installthespring,thetractioncontrolbail,andthe
spaceronthehandle.
14.Hookthecableontothebladecontrolbail.

baris5-1/2inches(14cm)fromtheoutsideofthe
handle,andpullthecabletotheremovetheslack,
butdonotputtensiononthespring(Figure3).
