should be examined

age before

during

unloading.

This

equipment

was

carefully

inspected

and

packaged

at the f actory.

The f reight

carrier

has

assumed

responsibility lor

its

safe transit and

delivery.

apparent or concealed, a

claim

must be

made

with

the

delivering carrier.

Controls

The

lollowing

information

provides

a basic description

toastercontrols,

their location

and

the

functionthey

perform.

The

operator

must

be

familiarwith

the controls.

Operating

Lever

Lowering the operating lever lowers the

bread

into

the

toasting chambers.

When

the toast

has reached iis

set darkness the operatirig lever

and the toast

will

automatically be

raised.

The operating

lever is

also

used

to manually

raise

the

toast during the toasting

cycle.

Color

Selection Knob

Color selection

knob is

used to set

the desired

darkness of the toast.

decrease as

necessary.

your

toasted

product.

2. Moisture

in Bread

When toasting

bread

it is

advisable

to

use one

ortwo

day

old bread.

Fresh bread contains

more moisture

and

is apt to toast

unevenly.
