1. Install the Titan Smartwatch
app. On your phone, go to watches.hp.com or searc h for Titan smartwatch in your app store. NOTE: Your phone must have either iOS 8 or higher or Android 4.4 operating system or higher.
2. Make sure that your phone’s
Bluetooth® is turned on. See your phone documentation for instructions.
3. Open the Titan Smartwatch
app on your phone, and then follow the on-scre en instructions to set up your account.
SETTING UP YOUR PHONE APP AND WATCH FOR THE FIRST TIME
4. The phone app automatically searches for nearby watches. Press the top
watch bu tton 1 so that the setup scree n is displayed and the app can fin d
your watc h.
5. In the phone app, select your watch. If prompted, press the top watch button

and enter the PIN displ ayed on your watch.
6. In the phone app, enable notification permissions. You can choose to push any
notifications from a third-par ty app, s uch as Face book or Twitter, to the watch. See your phone documentation for instructions for enabling notifications.
7. To configure the watch, in the phone app, select Activity Tracker, World
Clock, Notifications, or Preferences. Notifications also controls vibration notification settings. See Vibration Notifications on page 12 for more information.

When the watch batter y has less than a 20% charg e, there is a notification. There is also a notification when the watch batte ry has less than a 10% charge.

VIBRATION NOTIFICATIONS
In addition to on-screen messages, your watch vibrates to notify you of events. The following table describes the default vibration patterns for notifications.

Vibration notifications are either high or low urgency. High-urgency notifications use a stronger vibration than low-urgency notifications.
To enable, disable, or change the urgency level of vibration notifications:
1. In the a pp, select Notifications.
2. Click the slider next to the notif ication to enable or disable that notific ation.
Click Edit to change the vibratio n urgency l evel to high or l ow.
NOTE: You can enable a vibrations notification for any third-party app. All vibration notifications not enabled by default are set automatically to low urgency.

RECONNECTING THE WATCH WITH YOUR PHONE
If the phone and watch are disconnected, the watch displays the Bluetooth icon .
To reconnect:
1. Make sure that your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on. See your phone
documentation for instructions.
2. Press the top watch bu tton until the Setup screen displays.
3. Open the Titan Smartwatch app on your phone, and then follow the on-screen
instructions to reconnect the watch to your phone.
