3. Turn over the tank and unscrew the tank cap with the valve and the filter counterclockwise.
4. Fill the tank with water.
5. Screw the tank cap with the valve and the filter clockwise. Make sure that the tank cap is tightly secured. Make sure than the rubber ring is installed on the tank cap.
Failure to take all of the above measures may result in air ingress in the water tank and, as a result, break-down.
6. Install the tank and the water tank cap with the atomizer back to the unit.
IMPORTANT!
To avoid electric shock, prior to disassembling the unit (removing the tank), disconnect the unit from the power line! Do not fill the tank with other liquids but tap water.
Different composition of liquids has harmful effect on internal parts and causes failures.
Do not fill the unit or the water tank with such additives as essential oils, fragrances, cleaning agents, chemical medical drugs, warm water (above 40°), etc.
Otherwise, the water tank and internal parts of the unit will be damaged and inoperable.
Do not fill water directly into the internal part of the unit or the atomizer.

7.OPERATION OF THE UNIT
Connect the unit to the power line, having filled the tank with water first. Press the on/off button, (the unit will automatically start operating), and the
current air humidity will show up on the display. At the very beginning of operation, the atomizing level may appear
unstable, which is caused by the temperature difference and water quality. It takes some time for water to start turning into steam on the ultrasonic membrane. After 10-25 minutes the atomizing level will gradually stabilize.
To select the required room humidity, press the humidity level setting button (5). The unit will automatically adjust the steam outflow intensity to reach the humidity level you have set.
To adjust the humidity level manually, press button (2), the steam outflow intensity will change (low, medium, high). This action will be shown on the display by indicators.
The display show the set humidity level and the current humidity level after the user finishes setting up. The display show the actual room temperature.
By pressing the timer set button (4), you can set the time for the unit to switch off in 1 – 12 hours.
To activate air ionizing, press the corresponding button (3). The ionizer generates negative ions (anions) and refreshes the room air.
Anions reinforce the nervous and the blood-vascular system, improve lungs performance and provide effective protection against respiratory illnesses (such as asthma and pneumonia). Anions clean air from dust and smoke.
Press the warm steam on/off button (6) to humidify by warm steam. When humidifying by warm steam, water heating is performed by means of the built-in heater. Water in the tank is heated and fed through the atomizer turning into warm steam. The unit’s efficiency improves thanks to the combined humidification (cold and warm steam).
NOTE!
It the warm steam function was activated when the unit was operating, then after the unit is switched off, the fan will keep on working for 5 minutes to cool down the heating element.
It will take about ten-twenty minutes to atomize warm steam (time required for water to be heating by the heater after it is switched on). The average warm steam temperature is 40°. Sometimes it is hard to feel the steam temperature due to the temperature difference and ambient humidity.
To deactivate the warm steam function, press button (6) again. To switch off the unit, press the on/off button.
NOTE!
Dear customer, When using the humidifier, you may come across
condensate generation on its upper part and objects next to it, including water accumulation, which is not a defect, but a feature of its operation. This feature may have several causes, listed in the table on page 14.
8. WATER SOFTENING FILTER CARTRIDGE
The unit’s scope of delivery includes 1 filter cartridge with balls out of mineral stone, installed on the water tank cap with the valve, 1 carbone filter (in set) and 1 ion resin filter (in set). Filter cartridge with balls out of mineral stone, which features strong absorbing properties. The filter absorbs elements of heavy metals such as lead, chrome, mercury, zinc, etc. It decontaminates water and restores normal pH level.
Filter’s life is 4-6 months, depending on the quality of water used and how often the unit is used.
If the white deposit appears on things around the humidifier when it is used, it may have the following causes:
1. Water used contains high amount of magnesium or calcium. You should use water that was preliminarily treated by a domestic water filter.
2. Residues of calcium and magnesium salts have accumulated inside the unit. You should clean inner parts of the unit.
3. Steam deposits suspended dust on a surface, contained in the air.
4. The water softening filter properties have deteriorated. You should replace the water softening filter.
