MAxIMIzING THE LIFE OF YOUR CARRIER DEPENDS ON HOW WELL THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN LOOKED AFTER AND MAINTAINED, AS WELL AS THE TYPE AND INTENSITY OF USE, SUCH AS:
FREQUENCY AND MILEAGE
The more often the carrier is used and the farther it goes, the more it will wear.
LOADING
The higher the weight in the carrier, the faster certain components will wear.
ROAD CONDITIONS
Hard cornering, fast acceleration, braking and rough terrain all contribute to increased wear of various components.
EFFECTS OF THE WEATHER
Long exposure to UV rays, extreme temperatures, humidity, road grit (sand and dirt), and contact with salt contribute to the wear of your carrier.
STORAGE
Storing your carrier properly is essential to reducing the amount of wear to components.
LEVEL OF MAINTENANCE
Service intervals, means of maintenance, storage, cleaning, servicing and inspection work will all help to dramatically reduce wear of critical components.
