for "Flood-Seal"® SLK-M, SDK-M & SLT-M, SDT-M
INLINE FUSE/DISCONNECT KITS
For Copper and Aluminum Conductors Rated for 600
volts. Fuse not included. Wire range #12-#4
THIS KIT CONTAINS:
1 line-end housing
1 load-end housing
1 Connecting link (SDK-M/SDT-M only)
2 wire-end fuse clips
1 packet of silicone grease
1 assembly dowel
CAUTION
Identify Line and Load side wires and match
housing body parts before installing. All associated
wires and working area must be de-energized.
Complete Steps 1 through 7 for both the Line End and
Load End housing.

Housing
Install the fuse clip using a 1/8” hex wrench. Tighten the set

screw securely to the conductor.
CAUTION
Do not over tighten on smaller sized conductors.

Apply a small amount of silicone grease to housing for ease

of assembly.
Slide the housing over the fuse clip until resistance is felt.

Using wood dowel as an assembly and depth gauge tool,
insert the fuse clip to the depth indicated for the line and
load side housings as marked on the dowel. DO NOT
exceed these depths.

Wipe the cable clean. Pencil end of

the cable insulation for ease of
installation. Apply silicone grease to
the end of the
cable and to the
cut opening of
the housing.
Insert the cable until it

extends 2” to 3” beyond
the housing.

Strip the insulation
from the cable
end baring 1/2” of
the conductor.

Insert the connecting link or a 13/32” by 1-1/2” (maximum
600 volt 30 AMP) cartridge fuse in the load-end housing. (Do
not use glass body fuses.) Mate the line-end and load-end
housings to make the electrical connection.
