Remove insulating sleeve from the outlet. Select
correct cut-off ring for cable being used. Cut off
rocket sleeve at the tip of arrow, leaving correct
cable size showing on opened rocket.
Strip the insulation from
the cable end baring
approximately 2-1/4” of
conductor.
Beveling the
cut edge of the
insulation is
preferred
although not
necessary.
Wipe cable clean. Apply
3
silicone grease. Slide cut
rocket over prepared
cable.
