INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
for Multi-Seal® RAB 1/0 SERIES

Remove the cap (the
cap is not required for
#2 to 1/0 awg)
Cut cap at the correct
cut off ring for #14 to #4
awg.
Reinsert the cap (if
required)
Measure the strip length.
Place the cable alongside
the markings on the
bottom of the connector
and strip the cable.

Insert the cable into the
tower (#2 to 1/0 awg) or the
cap (#14 to #4 awg) until
fully inserted.
Remove the screw plug.
IMPORTANT
• Make sure all unused cable ports are sealed.
• When reinstalling a cable, it must be of the same size
or larger than the one removed.

SAFETY PRECUTIONS
• Follow standard safety practices when working on
energized circuits.
• Insulating gloves rated to the appropriate voltage must
be worn when installing on live conductors.
• Tap conductors may be installed on an energized main
but IT MUST NOT BE UNDER LOAD.
Replace the screw plug.Torque the connector to
