QUICK START GUIDE
STEP 7: (Optional) Connect your local monitor 1 and/or local monitor 2 DVI cables (not included) to the DVI OUT 1 DUAL-LINK and DVI OUT 2 DUAL-LINK connectors on the VelocityKVM Transmitter.

STEP 6:
Two DVI -D Dual-link cab les (CBL-00 0023-00 2MR) are included.
Connect one from the CPU DVI 1 Video Card to the V elocityKVM
Transmitter’s DVI IN 1 DUA L-LINK port.
Connect the other from the CPU DVI 2 Video Card to the
VelocityKVM Transmitter’s DVI IN 2 DUAL-LINK port.
Note: Be sure to leave
adequate ventilatio n space
on both sides of the units

Each Thinklogical™ Velocitykvm-38 Multi-Mode Fiber Optic System consists of a transmitter unit and a receiver unit connected by four multi-mode fiber optic cables (or by one optional single-mode fiber). The transmitter unit connects to the computer with standard cables and the receiver unit provides connections to the user interface devices. The Velocitykvm-38 supports PS/2, full duplex stereo audio, serial (RS-232), USB 1.0 (HID) device ports and USB 1.1. Options include USB 2.0 (high speed up to 480Mbps).

STEP 1: Ensure that the POWER ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position (0) on both the Tx and Rx units. Connect the supplied AC Power Cords to both units and plug them into a standard AC supply. LEAVE BOTH SWITCHES IN THE OFF POSITION.
