Leak TestingValves, Hose and Regulator

Tum all grillcontrol knobs to OFF.

CompletelyopenLPcylindervalvebyturninghandwheel
counterclockwise.Ifyouheara rushingsound,turngasoff
immediately.Thereisamajorleakattheconnection.Correct
beforeproceeding.
Holdcouplingnutand regulator
asshownforproperconnection
to LPcylindervalve.
6. Turnthecouplingnutclockwiseandlightentoafullstop.The
regulatorwill sealontheback.checkfeaturein theLPcylinder
valve,resultinginsomeresistance.An additionalone-halfto
three-quartereturnis requiredto completethe
connection,Tightenbyhandonly- donotusetools,

Ifyoucannotcompletethecomection,disconnectregulatorand
repeatsteps5and6. Ifyouarestillunabletocompletethe

GeneralGrill Cleaning
• Donotmistakebrownorblackaccumulationofgreaseand
smokeforpaint.Intehorsofgasgdllsarenotpaintedatthe
factory(andshouldneverbepainted).Applya strongsolution
ofdetergentandwaterorusea grillcleanerwithscrubbrush
oninsidesofgrilllidandbottom.Rinseandallowtocompletely
