INTRODUCTION
This electrode uses two etched, high-grade stainless steel pins and it comes with built-in 30KΩ thermistor for Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC). It is designed for maximum reliability, accuracy, and ease of use. The sensor is housed in a high-grade epoxy body resistant to a wide range of sample solutions. It comes with a standard BNC connector and mini phono jack. Thus it offers precision conductivity measurement at an economical price. Due to its robust construction, it allows long years of maintenance free use.
PREPARATION PRIOR TO USE
The electrode needs periodic cleaning. For this, any industrial cleaner will suffice. Isopropyl alcohol is strongly recommended. It is non-toxic and inexpensive without losing cleaning properties. Following steps before and after use are recommended for prolonged life:
1) Store dry.
2) Rinse in isopropyl alcohol followed by deionized water before and after measurement.
3) Once in a while, it is recommended to remove deposits if any on or around the sensor housing.
RECOMMENDED MATERIALS
A suitable conductivity/TDS standard solution nearest to expected measured value is recommended. Normally Conductivity calibration at 1413 μS/cm and 12.88 mS/cm will suffice. While TDS calibration at
300 ppm and 3000 ppm will suffice.
WARRANTY
This electrode is supplied with a six-month warranty against significant deviations in material and workmanship.
Exclusions
The warranty on your instrument shall not apply to defects resulting from:
Improper or inadequate maintenance by customer Unauthorised modification or misuse Operation outside of the environment specifications of the products
