Installation Guide for Transition Reader (RX-STU-ETR1)
I. Transition Reader as Shipped from Factory
The Transition Reader as shipped from our factory is compliant with FCC Part 15 Rules. (Fig. 1)
This device complies with Part 1 5 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following t wo conditions:
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) This device must accept any interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired operation.

If the Transition Reader is separated into Reader (Bottom Base) and Antenna (Top Stand), the following instructions must be performed in order to be FCC Part 15 compliant. (Fig. 2)
1) Separate Antenna (Top Stand) and Reader (Bottom Base) a minimum distance of 24 inches.
2) If the 48 inch antenna cable is to be coiled or bundled, the antenna cable coil must be a minimum of 12 inches away from the Reader (Bottom Base).
